Trainingsession Training 7th November - 13th November

Monday- Road session with Sale Harriers group at Sports City, Manchester. First time I had trained with this group even though I go to most of their sessions as Donna trains with them. Session was 3 x 1700m (Approx) 2 mile warm up, 3 reps, 2 mile warm down. Felt good to get the legs moving.

Tuesday- 12 mile run from home. Ran to Saddleworth and took in some dark lanes.

Wednesday- Track session. (Yes that's two track sessions in two weeks which is good for me and will hopefully continue) 2 mile warm up, 14 x 400m off 30 secs, 2 mile warm down. (8 mile in total) A bit windy on the back straight (that's my excuse anyway and I am sticking to it)

Thursday- 10 mile pm hard and hilly.

Friday- 6 mile. Did my run in the morning today to start getting used to getting back up at 5am. Loved it. I love running in the morning. Dark and quiet.

Saturday- Session in Heaton Park. 3 mile warm up.  5 sets of the hill and the k.  2.61 mile warm down.  (Total 13 miles) Total rep including the jog recovery is about 1.5 mile approx.  Felt good on session, right leg a little tight.  Was good to be back in the park.  Evening run 5.53 mile on the old Hyde 7 race loop.

Sunday- Early morning long off road run.  Muddy and windy on the moors. 16.65 Miles.  Loved it.  Out for 7am all on my own.  Just about light enough to head off road safely enough.  Felt good.  

Weekly total- 78.18 miles.

A good weeks training with three sessions in it.  Not done three sessions in a week for a little while.
