Foolish Hyde Trail race

Today Donna and I decided to run the Hyde Foolish Trail Race.  This is a new race organised by Kiwi Classic Events.  The event was well set up and well organised.  The route was testing after the first 1.5miles.  The race then went up to Werneth Low which to get to you run up a massive grassy hill.  And what goes up, must come down!  So after another half mile across the top the route came down a steep hill.  Not a problem for me but I am glad I was well in front of Donna as I can imagine now how much she would be moaning.  Then came the mud bath of the crappest path in Hyde!!!  In the end I won from Gavin Hill of ECH and Donna was first girl.
To make it more fun I ran the course for a warm up.  Donna would like it be known that this was not a trail race but an out and out fell race!!!  Wimp!!!!
