Great Yorkshire 10k

This race came just a little too early from getting back from holiday.  I was hoping to be able to run a similar time to last year where I ran 30.00, but it wasn't to be.  I finished in 12th place in a time of 31.06.  Ok, so some will be asking what the eck happened,  but nothing really happened.  Even though I have been getting some good runs in and some good sessions I haven't really dome any 10k training.  This obviously showed yesterday.  I was on the whole pleased as I felt ok in the race and felt that with a few more focused speed sessions in I would have been up with the next group which included Matt Barnes, Lee Merrien and John Beattie.  When I fell off the back of Stuart Stokes and Lee Merrien I knew what the day held.  But it's all part of my training for the Commonwelath Marathon.  Well done to all who ran this weekend.
