Wilmslow Half Marathon
12th place- 67.22
Not a great day on the roads for me. Set off well in the race and was running ok through to 10k. As I got to miles 7 and 8 I started to slow a lot and felt like I was lacking something. Gave me lots of time to think. I nearly ran 3 minutes quicker last year and it felt so much easier. Not sure what this shows but I have a lot to think about now.

Well done everyone who races, some good performances.

Andi - try not to get too wrapped up in what was a dissapointing race. Sometimes it doesn't click. Try to stay pragmatic about things. Look at it as a hard training session and continue to build towards London. Best of luck, you'll be reet :)
Stevie Posted on March 30th, 2011Stay positive Andi and look at all the good training you've done over the last few months. There will always be a couple of below par runs/sessions in your build up. Best of luck for London.
MattW Posted on March 28th, 2011Why would it put doubts in my mind about running Wilmslow?
Andi Jones Posted on March 28th, 2011Has your time yesterday put doubts in your mind about not doing London?? Have you got a virus or are you run down from all the hard training you've done??
I ran Wilmslow too.... but not as quick as you! Posted on March 28th, 2011
