Trainingsession 16th-22nd May

Sunday - Rest. Didn't run due to erm, being tired. From a night out and then travelling. Ooops. Won't happen again. Promise.

Monday - 45 mins steady. Twisted my ankle! MAnaged to finish run but couldn't manage the evening run. (6.5)

Tuesday - Rested ankle

Wednesday - 61 mins steady at 6.23 miling. Was careful on ankle but could run comfortably enough. (9.5)

Thursday - AM - 46 mins steady. (7)

PM - 48 mins brisk at 5.50 miling. A run on the flat for once! Hard day at work so took my frustration out on the run. felt good though. (8.5)

Friday - 59 mins steady at 6.30 miling (9)

Saturday - 60 mins with 3 x 10mins tempo in Dorset. VERY hilly run! Dorset is just steep up or down. Was boiling hot too. Not enjoyable. (10)

50.5 miles. Ankle put paid to a bigger week, and my laziness on sunday. But all seems ok now and I'm introducing the tempo stuff again. A bit worried about all my runs seeming to be hilly, could well make me pretty tired. I think I'll plan to do many runs from work, just to keep some runs on the flat.

Flat ground

Well when I ran where HAILE runs there was a lovely stretch of flat ground. Mainly flat anyway. So ner!

Man up Moreau! Hills are good for you - remember there is not much flat ground up in the kenyan/ethiopian highlands it doesn't seem to do them any harm. you should read this http://www.amazon.com/More-Fire-How-Run-Kenyan/dp/1594160740
