Girlfriend's use of arm warmers
So a while ago myself and my girlfriend went out for dinner on Saturday, to talk about the Southern's and how great Saucony was at sponsoring it. I was wearing my new Saucony Jazz Originals of course.
Throughout the dinner, something about the surroundings was poking my subconscious as something that seemed very familiar but I hadn't quite clocked it. Then, during the second course, I looked at Amelia and noticed her nice black cardigan, and her nice black long sleeved top underneath.
Except that it wasn't a black long sleeved top, she was wearing Saucony AMPPRO2™ arm warmer. My mushy peas fell from my fork and I asked her if she was wearing arm warmers. On a date. My arm warmers.
She looked at me sheepishly and said that yes she was, and that she really liked them. I probed a bit further as to why, and also why the silver Saucony logo was on the inside of her forearm when she should be promoting the brand at every opportunity. She apologised for this but thought it a bit brash for a restaurant, but I asked again why she was wearing arm warmers. On a date.
She replied: Everything else is just compression.
To top this, when the bill came and she offered to leave a tip for the service, I don't think the waitress was expecting a piece of paper with: "The Saucony Pro Grid Mirage is minimal, lightweight, incredibly responsive and also provides just a touch of guidance for the neutral to slight over-pronator"
DISCLAIMER: Some of this is not true. The arm warmer bit is though.
