Since Monday i have been training in Font Romeu. The first 5 days have been crucial to my bodies acclimatisation. My easy runs started at 10 minute mile pace and throughout the course of the week became slightly faster at 7:30 - 8min mile pace by the end of the first week. Saturdays session has to be one of the toughest sessions i have done this year. Sundays long run was the easiest I've felt so far which is a clear sign that i have adapted well so far to the altitude. The conditions for running have been perfect with lots of warm sunshine!

It was an absolute killer of a session for sure. I am training out here with Matthew Bowser as i did last year. We are both working hard together in sessions which is just what we need. We are gaining input on what sessions to do from different coaches and repeating a similar routine to what we did last year with just a few tweaks here and there.
