I started running when I was 13 years old. I was asked to run in a school county cross country championship, following a good 'bleep test' in my PE class. At the time I was enjoying playing football, golf and a bit of tennis with occasional swimming sessions. I won the cross country race and caught 'the running bug', it all started from there. Within eighteen months I'd dropped all other sports, running had become my passion. I had joined the local running club Bridgend AC where I met my current coach Ridley Griffith. I can't thank him enough for what he's done for me over the last 4/5 years I wouldn't be heading where I am now if it wasn't for him.
