And so it all begins

So its that time again, the season seems to have come around so fast this year probably as i started my winter a bit later than normal due to Delhi being later in the season than i would normally compete.
After the ups & downs of last year things seem to have settled nicely & i'm really looking forward to racing again. Training has been going pretty well & i feel i'm in good shape although the true test will come when i race. My first race is this weekend at the Scottish Open/Loughborough Trials & i'm doing the 1500m. Many people believe that this is the event that i should be concentrating on but i've yet to be fully convinced.
The weather has turned in typical Scottish fashion from warm & sunny to cold & rainy just in time for my first competition of the year so who knows what Sunday will bring, lets hope the wind & rain stay away for at least 4 & a bit minutes at around 3.10.

I won in a new pb of 4.15.11 (report is now up) 2nd was Jo Moultrie in 4.18 then Natalie Sharp 3rd in 4.34

sam Posted on May 9th, 2011Thanks Dan, yes really nice to start the season off with a pb, especially after none last year. I'll put a race report up soon. Hope to head to Loughborough, our selection is today so i'll know soon enough.
