UK Champs & World Trials

I arrived in Birmingham in a confident mood after a few good training sessions in the lead up, i felt i definately made the right decision sitting out the final of the Scottish Champs & being in better health to come to Birmingham with the goal of a place in the final.  As it happened i missed out by a small margin, i was the 9th fastest qualifier from the semis & missed out by 0.11

I felt that the heats on the Friday went well enough, i qualified comfortably in an automatic spot (3rd) easing down in 2.06.19 & felt that there was much more to come & a sb was certainly on the cards.  The semi final the following day didn't go so well & only managed 6th in 2.05.25 being passed just a few strides before the line for the last place in the final.

As has been the story the rest of the season i was disappointed with my performance but i realise that sometimes these things do happen.
