Trainingsession 24 - 30 January
This week training was supposed to be the following, however I'm going to have to change it. I'm still quite hopeful that I'll be able to race next Sunday in the Scottish 4km cross Country Champs.
Monday
Easy run 60 minutes
Easy run 45 minutes
Tuesday
Warm up 30 minutes +5x800m
Easy run 45 minutes
Wednesday
Easy run 50 minutes
Easy run 50 minutes
Thursday
Easy run 45 minutes + strength session
Easy run 45 minutes
Friday
Warm up 30 minutes +8x200m
Saturday
Easy run 40 minutes
Sunday

So as you can see my training for the week was not the above, I didn't run Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I seen the physio Tuesday and he told me I could run, but Zak said to take a few days off and see how the achilles healed. I ran once a day for 30-40 minutes for the rest of the week, with some swimming in the evenings.
So the week started off poor and, but I was hopeful of running Sunday, which I managed. Hopefully next week will be much better, as I really can't afford another week of less than 50 miles.
