Weekly Training Update
Mon Pm 1hr 10 mins run muiltl terrain steady
Pm Spinning 45 mins
Tues Am 30 mins easy run road
Pm Session Warm-up then 8mins quick, 90 secs jog then 6 mins
Quicker
Again, 90 secs jog, 4mins quicker 1min jog, 2mins flat out 1min jog
Than 6x 30 secs quick but relaxed Warm down
Wed Pm steady run 1hr 12mins on road and grass
Pm core work, circuits as well
Thurs Am 30 mins easy on road
Pm Session 12x jog stride warm up / warm down
Fri Pm steady run over muiti terrain 1hr 10
Sat Am Session warm up, 8 x 1 lap round Greenland just over 1 km
Per lap 1min rec
Pm 30 mins easy to loosen legs after session
Sun Am 1hr 45 mins run over mutil terrain easy
Pm spinning on bike easy for 30 mins to help get rid of tiredness

Hi Graham thanx for your`e comment , like everyone i have good and bad days but probley like your`e self work though it,so i make the next day after a session i have a easy run to help rec.
Darren Posted on August 17th, 2009The day before a race i will do a very easy 30 mins run ,stretch and thats it,i have massage every 2 weeks ,and physio which helps
I used to have a day off before races but i always felt worse for it i would wake up stiff, since i have done easy run`s before races i feel a lot better so guess that some things work better than other`s
