Trainingsession Week Ending 30/05/2010

Training

 

Mon Am 25 min run on the road felt ok legs feeling fresh after good weekend of training.

 

Pm 1hr 5 min run on the grass at 5:30 pace felt nice and comfortable hilly course

 

Tues Pm Session warm up and down 5 x 1 mile loop undulating with 2min rec long rec as each mile had to get quicker. Times 1, 4;25 , 2, 4;23 ,3, 4:19, 4,4:19,5,4:13mile , session went really well me Owain both felt good and strong and pushed each other on

 

Pm core work 45 min

 

Wed Am runs 25 min easy to loose legs up from last night session felt ok

 

Pm 1 hr 5 min run on the grass at avg pace of 5:25 which felt good on a tough loop

 

Thurs Pm Session warm up and down, just over an 800 metre loop on undulating park land 8x lap with 90 sec rec , session went well hard session trying to keep the same pace me Owain worked well together sharing the pace which helped

 

Pm spinning 30 min easy loosen legs up and get rid of tiredness out of legs

 

Friday Pm 1hr 12min run on the road and grass easy pace today avg mile pace was 6:30 pace it was nice to have an easy run

 

Sat Am Session warm up and down 25 min tempo run did it with Garmin on Avgas pace was 5:05 pace on the road on a hilly loop felt comfortable at this pace also felt strong

 

Pm 35 min run easy on the grass to loosen legs up

 

Sun Am 1hr 45 min run on the grass and road with Owain nice and relaxed enjoying the company

 

Pm Spinning 30 min easy

 

Good week of training ,session going well feeling really fit and strong and now feeling better that in a routine with Alfie

Cheeky sod yeah it is set in the write distance i think 5 k is to short 4 me mate but it easier to do when you get a rec inbetween each rep mate, yeah things have started to get in to a routine now which makes life easier as you know mate ,cant belive Leah is 7 mnths already thats flown by ,hope you are keeping well and trainng well i see Phil is going well say hi to him and catch up when next see you tc

5 x 1 mile in 4:20 average - you should be running 13:40 of that session for 5k. You sure your Garmin is not set on "K" pace.

Glad you have settled with you little bundel of joy. Things will get easier. Leah is almost 7 month's and sleeps right through the night.
