Trainingsession weekending 8/08/10

Mon Am 25 min easy run on the grass felt good this morning legs feeling fresh after a good weekend of training.
Pm 1hr 5 min run on the grass and road, steady pace avg per mile was 5:25 felt good and strong good run running to start the week off with
Tues Pm Session warm up and down /session was 800 metre loops which is undulating on the grass 6 x 1lap all had to be pick and had to pick up at different points of the loop while trying to stay in control, went really well felt good session as it is a tough loop but managed to run each one quicker while staying in control.
Pm Core work and light weights 45 min
Wed Am easy run on the grass, just ticking over after last nights session
Pm steady run on the road and grass 1hr 5 min ,legs feeling little tired and also it band tight but got through it avg per mile was 5:30 pace
Thurs Pm easy run on the grass as racing Friday night so just did 45 min and some strides to get legs moving
Friday Am 30 min easy run to loosen my legs for race to night.
Pm Race 5 mile road race finished 1st and ran 5 mile in 24:06
Sat Am 1hr 10 min run on the grass and road, legs felt fine after race last night just run at nice pace that wasn’t to slow or to quick
Pm 25 mile on road bike around the country roads etc at a good cadence
Sun Am 1hr 35 min run easy pace on the grass and some on the road, legs felt good and know problems with legs being tired.
Pm 20 mile on the road bike again around the country lanes etc .
Good week of training again, very happy with race on Friday as I run the whole race by myself so know I can go under 24 min in race situation and plus not an easy course ,so more than happy with form at he moment just need to find a competitive race either at 5mile/10k.
