Thu 28 Apr
6:42pm 8.5 miles including track session 5x1000m (2mins). 2:53, 2:53, 2:53, 2:53, 2:55. Ran a 64sec 400m afterwards to help another athlete around the last rep of his session. Reasonably happy with workout especially after yesterday. Spent the morning at the physio and discussed my ongoing hamstring problem. It gets tight and sore every run, but especially so when I run up any hills or run long distances (9 miles seems to be ok). Duncan identified the cause as an extremely weak left leg - I am unable to hop on my left leg at all. He described my right leg as an athletes leg and my left leg as that of a sedentary person. He has said that I can continue to run on it and that it will help to do so as I need to strengthen my left leg but that the exercises he has given to me are key to rehabilitation.
