7:04pm 9 miles. First 6 miles of run with Simon Horsfield, easy pace. Started coming down with a cold tonight.
Tue 15 Feb
2:55pm 6 miles. Easy pace.
6:51pm 11 miles including track session. 1 mile (400m jog), 4x400m (200m jog), 1 mile (400m jog), 4x400m (200m jog), 1 mile. 4:56, 70, 69, 69, 69, 4:48, 70, 70, 70, 70, 4:58. Felt awful, cold much worse today so didn't kill myself.
Wed 16 Feb
5:13pm 15 miles. 6:47/mi (but 6:18/mi for last 9 miles). Cold worse again. Started very slow and built into the run, by the time I met John Brown, Mick Hill and Tony Valentine in the 5th mile I was moving nice and freely. Splits: 8:22, 7:45, 7:30, 7:04, 7:14, 7:02, 6:27, 6:14, 6:36, 6:23, 6:10, 6:11, 6:07, 6:15, 6:20.

12:46pm 6 miles solo. Easy pace.
7:06pm 8 miles with a group including Simon Horsfield and Gareth Raven. Again, easy pace. Cold even worse again today.
Fri 18 Feb
12:57pm 4 miles. Very easy pace. Still full of cold, but not as bad as yesterday.
Sat 19 Feb
10:43am 3 miles jog
2:15pm 11 miles including National Cross Country Champs (12th). See race report
