7:05pm 9 miles including Road session at Sport City. 4x1287m (2mins). First of the winter road sessions and it was awesome with 12 of us crossing the line within a second of each other on the first two reps. Things got a bit tastier at the front after that and I was left trailing by a good 5secs by Niall Brooks. Times (with pace per mile in brackets): 3:51 (4:48/mi), 3:46 (4:45/mi), 3:44 (4:39/mi), 3:44 (4:36/mi).

7:06pm 10 miles including 6 mile tempo. Didn't feel good at all tonight and was dropped after 2 minutes by a big group, average pace 5:31/mi. Very very tired

Weekly Mileage: 65
Good session Monday, tempo run wasn't good, felt tired from the off. Took Thursday and Saturday off as I'm still only supposed to be maxing out at 60mpw. Next week will see a slight increase in mileage and then my first big week back will come W/C 8th November. Need to start building fitness again now ready for a spring marathon build up.
