7:39pm 6 miles. A day of easy running, legs really feeling a tough weekend (very hard Northern Cross Country on Sat and 22 miles last night after work)
Tue 1 Feb
2:35pm 6 miles. A touch quicker than yesterday, legs feel like theyre coming back.
6:31pm 11 miles including track session alone at Stockport: 2km tempo (400m jog) 5x400m (200m jog) 2km tempo (400m jog) 5x400m (200m jog). 6:22, 69, 70, 69, 69, 69, 6:18, 70, 70, 70, 70, 67. Realised early on I was still very tired from the Northerns, made sure I didn't push it and decided to leave my harder session for Thursday. Times unimpressive. 11km of continuous running with considerable chunks of that at HM pace and 5k pace so still a productive evening.
Wed 2 Feb
5:17pm 15 miles. Felt tonnes better tonight once I got going. First 4 miles outside 7min mile pace but then felt pretty good running at 6:40 pace for the rest of the run.
Thu 3 Feb
2:32pm 7 miles
7:14pm 11 miles including track session 10x800m (55secs). 2:21, 2:20, 2:21, 2:21, 2:21, 2:21, 2:22, 2:21, 2:18, 2:19. Much much better tonight, best session for some time. The wind was as bad as I can ever remember it and was passing 600m pretty quick and splits were generally something like 33, 36, 34, 37 so a 3sec differential between the two 200s on each lap. Was going through 600m on very good time. Really pleased with session.
Fri 4 Feb
10:08am 6 miles.
8:45pm 9 miles. Two slow runs today - can tell I put in a good workout last night
Sat 5 Feb
12:32pm 18 miles. Did this around Senneleys Park, while watching the BUCs cross country. Moving pretty well today. Andy did the last hour with me.
Sun 6 Feb
10:30am 10 miles.
5:13pm 5 miles. Again, two easier runs today.
