UK Indoor Trials

Qualification came and went fairly comfortably. I maintained my talent of being drawn in the last heat which made things easier as I was able to check how fast the fastest loser ran in the first heat. After a slow first lap I hit the front and started clipping off laps fast enough to run under 3.51. With 200m's to go I dropped the hammer and made sure I qualified in one of the top 3 automatic qualifying spots.

The final did not go as I hoped but I have been able to take both positives and negatives from the race and build for outdoors. I've tried to get into a couple other indoor races since the UK trials but nothing has seemed appropriate. It looks like I will be racing next back in the states but the key date will be the 20th of April which is Mount Sac. Mount Sac is one of my favourite venues to race as the setting is amazing and I've been fortunate enough to run three good races there in a row.
