Ben Wins XC Race

Saturday 13th February saw Ben Moreau win in Sailsbury, a Hampshire XC league race. Going up against Tom Payn also being coached by Nick Anderson and doing a high mileage week Ben took advantage to come home first in his first XC race in quite a while. There was a slight scare for Ben when he felt his hamstring twinge during the race "My hamstring twinged when I was coming down the hills at about 3.5 miles. I thought it was going to go completely as it came from nowhere but it didn't get any worse and I tried not to over stretch it down the hills. It was a touch sore afterwards, but seemed to improve as the day went on. Hopefully it has passed but I'll get it looked at anyway" said Ben is his post race report.
