Bristol 10k 2013: Results
Now one of the most popular 10k road races in the UK the runbristol 10k has grown in size and reputation, it's now a place where lot's of the top British runners want to be involved, along with thousands of other runners looking to acheive a personal best or run for a good cause.
RunnersLife had both Aaron Scott and Matthew Barnes racing with Aaron just edging ahead of Matthew, 7th and 9th positions. The course has changed slightly this year and Matthew Barnes said after the race "The change of course was good and there was some great support out there on the way around. I will be back next year as the event is very well organised and always has a competative field".

Frank Tickner threw down the gauntlet to the field with an opening 2.50km that took him 50m clear. Tickner continued his charge from the front going through a 3k in 8.50 and 5k in 14.51. Ominously the chasing pack which included Webb, London Marathon Olympian Anuradha Cooray, Martin Williams, Carl Smith and James Connor.
Webb was the first to make the move as they approached 7km and he surged to pass the tiring Tickner. The following 3k saw a tremendous tustle develop as the runners sought precious RunBritain points. Celebrating his recent fatherhood it was the Leeds man Dave Webb who prevailed maximising his marathon strength to full force he enjoyed an 8sec victory ahead of Cooray and Martin Williams squeezed past Tickner in the last 200yds.
