Final Swansea 5k

The third and final 5k in the Swansea 5k series was won by U20 Great Britain Junior athlete, Dewi Griffiths on a wet and windy night on the seafront. The popular race series was well attended even with the heavy rain on the night.

RunnersLife, who were one of the partners of the race series for the first time along with UpandRunning 'Swansea' and the LC2 each race got a great turn out of around 400 runners meant it was another successful year for Grant Howells and his team who organise the event.

The first 5k was won by Olympian Mark Jenkins, the second was taken by USA college athlete bound Craig Hopkins and GB International Dewi Griffiths took the third.
