Berlin 10k - Phil Wicks 3rd in 29:25

In hot and humid conditions Phil Wicks, representing England, was 3rd in the 19th Berliner Vattenfall City Night 10k, finishing just 4 seconds down on Kenya's Felix Limo, winner of so many big city marathons.  The tough course meant that times were kept down to 29:21 and 29:25.  The winner was Musa Roba-Kinkal in 29:06, running for Germany.

Phil was happy with his race although would of liked the scalp of felix Limo and said after the race "That's the last race before my wedding, which is a nice feeling as lot's still to do on the wedding front so no more races to distract me from getting stuff done!"
