RunnersLife Reader Heads To Canada
RunnersLife reader, Matthew Bullock will be joining resident RunnersLife athlete Dave Norman in Toronto to take on his second Marathon having completed Berlin last summer. Matthew Bullock was running for cancer research in Berlin last summer and will again be raising money for a good cause, to raise money for a Fred Keenor Statue Fund Appeal. Matthew who is a regular visitor to Cardiff City (football club) thinks it is important to honour to memory of one of the clubs greats.

Matthew, Left.
Matthew said "Liverpool has done the same with Bill Shankly, Manchester United with Law, Best and Charlton, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest with Brian Clough, so we should follow their examples. The fact that Fred was a Somme veteran just adds to the need for this tribute."
Matthew has been a Bluebirds fan since August 1994 when he went to his first game with his dad Paul.
"It was a midweek fixture at home to Wrexham," he said. "I recall it was 0-0, not a classic game but I was hooked by the atmosphere. It was great to watch the match under the floodlights as opposed to just watching it on TV."
Matthew said among his most memorable matches were the FA Cup run of 2008, the play-offs, "Maybe not so much the Blackpool game", the FA Cup clash with Leeds United, the 2-0 win over Birmingham a few years ago and the first game in the Cardiff City Stadium against Scunthorpe".
