George....I dont normally do 10mile on Saturdays before races. I was using Stirling 10k as training and just trying the distance to see what it was like really, I wasnt looking for any kind of result. Therefore didnt want to miss an important long run for it. I ran the 10mile slightly easier than I would normally roughly about 7min miling I reckon. Although for me the 10mile was more important than the 10k result. Usually I just have an easy few miles the day before. :)

Session on Tuesday was Long Reps on the track...x

Hi Lily,

Just curious, do you react well off doing a 10 mile run the day before a race? Is it at a pedestrian pace (for you)?

Interesting some people have rest days and some long runs...
