Trainingsession Week Ending 31-01-2010

Monday: AM New loop of golf course - 35min
            PM Group run, down the side of golf course

Tuesday: AM  Run round golf course to work
              PM 12x400 stride outs on track

Wednesday: AM Run round golf course to work
                  PM 7miles with Jo - Had to improvise route because normal route was flooded :(

Thursday: AM 5mile easy, quite tired + New S&C Work
                   PM 3mile sustained run (warm up and warm down included) HR: 172... felt good, tired though

Friday: AM 5mile Legs very sore!!
              
PM 5.5mile - Wanted to keep going but had to keep to my schedule ;D

Saturday: AM Long session on the watch around the ponds with morag, jen, laura and some other girls from the group :D Lack of fitness kicked
                   
in on last long rep, but otherwise happy :D
               PM 5mile on treadmill legs very sore!!

Sunday: AM Hour run (8miles roughly) with laura, felt good, still but sore from thurs but otherwise ok.

Hi,
Well at the moment it is just basic strength exercises using body weight or medicine ball, because the injury made me weak in certain areas and therefore im not strong enough to handle any heavy weights at the minute. Im doing basic reps/sets on each exercise say; 3sets of 10/15 depending on the exercise and how weak I am in that muscle group. Im doing quite a bit of work on my legs as this is obviously the most important but I also do light arm and back work and then core and stretching at the end. This will progress to heavier weights later on, but me and liz aren't keen on heavy weights, so we dont do them too often, mainly conditioning work.

you mentioned s and c work . work sort of programme does that involve e.g. reps and what excercises do you do ?
