My experience is wide within the sport of Athletics and the Fitness industry and with my professional background and knowledge of the voluntary sector from working with a variety of charities I feel that I could positively influence a resurgence of Endurance/Road running within England Athletics.

I have a wide network of contacts worldwide that has helped me to develop my coaching and development knowledge, my ears and eyes are always open and I have a huge desire to see our athletes in Great Britain gain the confidence and desire to perform on the international stage, I also have experience in organizing major events.

  • Edinburgh Marathon - Race Director 2005/6
  • Edinburgh Forthside Half Marathon - Race Director 2006/7
  • Event Director - Lahore International Marathon and 10k 2005-date

  • Aircel Delhi Half Marathon (Worlds fastest race in 2008) IAAF Gold Label

  • Ras Al Khaimer Half Marathon - World Best in 2007 (Assistant RD) IAAF Silver label
  • Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront marathon IAAF Silver label
  • Xiamen Marathon China - IAAF Gold Label event

Registered as Manager Coach with Athletics Kenya/Ethiopian Federation I have coached several top Kenyans over the last 10 years including: John Mutai - Winner Great North Run 1999 and still winning Marathons aged 42 Cathy Mutwa - Prolific Road Race winner Patrick Makau - Silver Medal in World Half Marathon 2007/8 and 2nd Fastest all time
