Last four weeks of barely any running.

12/7/10-18/7/10

Monday- 30 mins easy. Felt ok.

Tuesday- 40 mins easy. Felt ok.

Wednesday- 35 mins easy. Felt horrible, really tired.

Thursday- Rest

Friday- Rest

Saturday- Rest

Sunday- Rest

15 mile week.

19/7/10-25/7/10

26/7/10-1/8/10

Monday- Rest

Tuesday- Rest

2/8/10-8/8/10

Monday- 3x20 press ups, 3x20 squats, 3x30 crunchies. Kick about with mates in the afternoon.

Tuesday- Did plank for 1:30, then did three sets of 2 min sit ups broken into 30s of normal sit ups, 30s, 30s sit ups with the twist either side, then 30s sits ups and finally back to 30s of the sit ups with twists, then back to 1:30 of plank and then 50 crunchies. 5 a-side football in the afternoon.

Wednesday- Prehab exercises but with 15 press ups in between each exercise.

Thursday- Around 15 miles worth of cycling.

Friday- Skipping in the morning then drills. In the afternoon I did a bit more skipping and went for a 45 min bike ride.

Saturday- Core exercises with 15 press ups in between each exercise.

Sunday- 2 hour bike ride and then straight after 2/2 half hours of 5 a-side football.

0 mile week (but plenty of exercise!)

Hi Floyd,
I hope to start training again in the next couple of weeks. This is the longest time I've had away from running so it will be interesting to see what I'm like when I get back.
Yeah I've finished for track this year. I thought if I'm struggling to jog what's the point in me trying to run a track race, I wouldn't be able to make it round.

so when do you plan on starting proper training again?

I take it your leaving this track season now?
