Trainingsession 20/9/10-26/9/10
The training leading upto the Southern 6 Stage.
Monday- am: 40 mins easy and core
pm: 40 mins steady. Felt good.
Tuesday- am: 40 mins easy
pm: Track session of 5x400m off 60s, 5x300 off 45s, 5x200 off 30s with a lap between sets. Times were 64, 63, 63, 63, 64, 46, 46, 46, 46, 45, 29, 29, 29, 29 28. Another great track session. Didn't feel good on the warm up but once I started the 400's my legs felt fine.
Wednesday- 65 mins plus circuits. Felt good.
Thursday- Session of 3x1 mile at tempo off 90s in the pouring rain. My Garmin decided it didn't want to work on the first rep so I just ran for 5 mins but I got some readings for the next reps and they were 4:54 (165 bpm) and 4:59 (166 bpm). Felt good and was very surprised to see sub 5 minute miling on the watch.
Friday- am: 38 mins easy and prehab stuff.
pm: 31 mins steady. Felt good.
Saturday- 40 mins plus 7 strides. Legs felt amazing on the strides
