Last week's running

Monday- am: 30 mins easy and circuits

             pm: 30 mins easy and 5x5/6s hill sprints

Tuesday- Track session of 800m with Steve, 600m jog and then 6x300m off 2 mins in 44/45. I did 2:07 then 46 and 30 for the next 200m of the 300m and then stopped. Legs were tired and had no energy in them.

Wednesday- 50 mins easy. Felt fine.

Thursday- 40 mins easy and hill sprints. Felt good.

Friday- 30 mins easy. Felt fine.

Saturday- Meant to be over at the mile loop at Cannon Hill doing a mile run split into a mile at tempo, mile hard, mile at tempo and a mile hard. I ran 2 mile there easy and felt ok then did the mile at tempo in 5:23 and then picked up for the hard mile and ran it in 5:21. Stopped after that and ran home. Those two miles rang quite a few alarm bells. Firstly, when I was running at tempo I didn't feel like I had much more in me as my legs felt tired and as though a pick up was almost impossible. This was proved with the mile where I was supposed to pick up which I did, but only managed to beat my tempo mile by 2 seconds. On top of that my tempo mile was 5:23 when in fact it should've been close to 5 mins.

Sunday- 30 mins easy. Felt ok
