Very happy with my first pair of compression tights and surprised how good they were, having thought it may be a bit of a gimmick. I get tight hamstrings after race's and had read if you wear compression tights to bed they help with recovery during the night, and the next day they did seem better than usual.

I went for 2XU as the I had seen an article in a running magazine and liked the design and although the price is quite a bit if it helps me recover enough to train the next day after racing and hard sessions it will work out a lot cheaper with having regular massage. I have also done a couple of easy runs in them but not sure if I could do a race or hard run in them as I do get very warm in them as apposed to 'normal' running tights.

Conclusion

Not sure if they help in running faster but they do help as a recovery tool, worn either straight after running or during the night while sleeping.

compression tights and good sex!

Only problem wearing them to sleep in whilst they help recovery after tough session they are damn hard to get off when having sex. Partner complains enough about me always being too tired after training to perform - these make it even HARDER!!!
