Review

When I first put them on they felt and looked good (not difficult on an Adonis like me!) they were really comfy just like the Grandpa's Slippers you get form M&S.

However after admiring them for about a week I finally plucked up the courage and decided to show them some tarmac with a bit of dog shit hear and there. Ahh nightmare after about 30 minutes of running the old legs were feeling as if they were working harder than normal and I was blaming the trainers nothing to do with the 5 pints of Guiness I consumed the night before.

They felt a bit too spongy for me, and the calves were feeling a bit tight. This has happened a few times and wasn't a one off. This may be because they are more suited too lighter runners and not 12.5 stone hunks like me, Joe Clazaghe, Brad Pit, George Clooney.

Good Points

Well made, and I'm sure they could take a battering for high mileage runners over 50 miles plus per week.

Bad Points

The Price is bad if I did fall for them. Lucky me hey, £120! For crying out loud Asics what are you playing at running supposed to be a cheap sport.

Conclusion

I feel like a judge in Strictly Come Dancing, ''Kayano's you need to stiffen up in the sole, become a little bit wider and drop in price'' I give you 5/10, hope you rely on the phone vote to keep you in the game. I'll stick to the Asics Cumulus for now.
