Review

Not a bad looking trainer, and despite appearing quite "heavy" were quite light when worn, with a stable, comfortable fit.

The trainers initially felt a little "bouncy", however I soon got used to this and was more than happy with their performance.

The majority of my road work entails interval sessions and these trainers were well suited to this type of session. They also performed reasonably well when doing short recovery reps of 300/400m at 70% effort on the track, however when performing quicker 150/200m reps they felt a little cumbersome.(Having said that they were probably not designed for this type of session.)

They also left me feeling a little heavy legged on the rare long run I complete. (This however may not be down to the trainer!)

Good Points

  • Cushioning
  • Lightweight
  • Comfortable
  • Support
  • Stability

Bad Points

  • Slightly cumbersome on fast reps.
  • Can feel a little too "bouncy".

Conclusion

At the right price I probably would purchase these trainers again, since they performed well during the road work I completed - mainly 25-30 minutes interval work.

I would however have a racer type trainer on standby for track work.
