Straight off the bat this is a sexy spike, possibly the main reason I bought it! Of course as a racing spike there is surely not going to be to much difference between makes and models as it will just be very little to get me around the track as fast as possible. I would say as a long distance spike it should go all the way upto 10,000m (yet to try this, let you know later in the track season) but having done a few sessions in it I would say I would be more than happy to do a 5,000m race but maybe 70/30 if I would use it for that far.
They grab peoples attention as soon as you put them on with comments on their looks like you would get driving an Aston Martin which is nice but they are also they to do a job so this is how they feel to run in.....
Very, very lightweight with hardly anything under the heel so beware you you suffer achilles problems but the plate underfoot does seem to fit well. It gives decent support on the insides of the spike where I have found in other spikes my left foot rolls in on the bends giving pain and blisters, again over a 10,000m this might be different. A lovely fit around the foot and even just doing strides in them you want to get out there and race. Heel is nice and solid and above all I couldn't feel the spikes underfoot which has happened in the past. I don't think they are supper hard wearing but easily get you through a track season by which point you will probably buy a new pair anyway.
Great fit
Looks amazing
Decent plate underfoot
Probably as supportive inside of spikes as you might find for such lightweight spike
Very light
Not sure about going upto 10,000m
Be careful if you achilles problems, very low profile (not a bad point really just a fact)
Sum it up I can't wait to race in these on a summers evening to a new pb. Looks great and will help me zip around the tracks in the coming months. I Had a pair of the Endorphin LD1, if you liked them you will love these.
