Garmin Forerunner 110

Recommended Price :- £200

Review

Garmin market this watch as GPS 'made simple', and it's exactly that. It tell's you how far you run, the average pace and time taken. You can get out of the car push one button and five seconds later and you are running. As yet the GPS receiver has not lost signal under thick tree cover or by tall buildings. Also because the watch lacks the many features that other Garmins have. The battery lasts much longer. The 'Garmin Connect' is also easy to use and gives all useful info including pace, gradient graph, time and a map.

for another great review of the forerunner 110 then dont forget to check out the review over at run the line. the review contains a lot of information about battery life, features and a host of other important factors that are worth thinking about when you are looking to buy a GPS Watch like this.

Good Points

  • Easy set-up.
  • Small size for a GPS watch.
  • Finds and tracks satellites very well.
  • Price.
  • Battery life
  • Garmin Connect

Bad Points

  • Sometimes the GPS receiver stays on a bit too long after the run is finished. Although not really a problem.

Conclusion

Really like the watch and think it is a great training tool.

fogging

YES ! Mine fogged up for the first time last week. I've run with my 110 and love it -- until the fog hit.

Has anybody else found the glass fogs up on the inside on their 110?
