

What I like about the Suunto is the real time measurement called "Training Effect". This tells you at the time you are doing the exercise session how it is benefiting your fitness. It's interprets your heart rate and then lets you know if you are maintaining your fitness, improving it or over reaching.
The other thing I like is that you can buy it in a modular way. If your budget is a bit tight (and whose isn't at the moment!), you can purchase the HRM version only to start off with and then add on the GPS Pod, Foot Pod, PC connector or cadence sensor all at a later date.
It has a log facility to record up to 15 runs plus has all the usual features including calorie counter, 50 lap memory and the ability to set heart rate zones. One other thing, unlike some other makes, the heart rate chest strap is very soft and comfortable to wear.
In use, the watch is easy to set up has a clear display and is good looking too so that you can wear it every day.
Great watch, really easy to use and very comfortable to wear.
