Review

First of all I hate the pink, they must think girls with love it but if anything most girl runners I know would like anything but that colour. I am training for Marathon in the summer and doing a lot of miles and this is not the shoe you want for that. This is my first pair of mizuno but have found they lose their 'bounce' quickly if you do 80miles a week and just don't wear as well as some other trainers I have had. Also I thought it was a neutral shoe but since found out it is for pronation, usually there is a darker colour on the inside of the shoe cushioning but the mizuno's do not.

Good Points

Lightweight

Wide fit

Comfortable

Don't need to be broken in

Bad Points

Cushioning goes pretty quickly

Horrible colour

Feet get very wet in these

Fall apart after few big mileage weeks

Little grip on grass/mud

Slight lump on inside on of shoe pushing into your arch.

Conclusion

Would not buy again, probably good for a 30mile a week runner and comfortable straight away. Friends have liked Mizuno but not a trainer for me.

Shoes are subjective

it is not right to try and review a shoe in this way as, like the previous poster mentioned, if it is the wrong kind of shoe for your foot type then naturally it is going to feel wrong. Even if you were an overpronater, you would only feel good in the Inspoire if you had a narrow foot and like a lightweight, fairly low profile running shoe. Reviewing shoes is so subjective - one shoe can feel great for one person and terrible to another person based entirely on the shape of their respective feet. This is why you felt a "slight lump" under the arch - this is meant to be there for the overpronater. Personally, i find Mizuno shoes great for high mileage - i run 100-110 a week and they hold up fine. Your last sentence sums it up - "Friends have liked Mizuno but not a trainer for me".

Wrong Shoe

If its not the right shoe for your foot, then its not going to fit or feel right, try the Mizuno Ultima if your a netural, and want to review a Mizuno shoe. The inspire is for over pronation, so its not going to feel anyway comfortable if your just looking for a neutral, cushioned shoe. Oh and they come in two colours not just pink.
