Losing Passports and Sleeping in Bushes
What a week! I have managed to lose my passport. So the entire week has been spent trying to get a new one in time to travel home for the Irish European Trial race next week in Sligo.
I started the frantic process last Monday when I realised I couldn't find it. Then turned my room upside down to no avail. I then went to the Passport office during the week in beautiful Kensington and I got a good look at it! I ended up running all over getting various things signed so the form would go through. I am very grateful to my school for being so supportive as well, I am lucky to work with such a great staff,
Yesterday I was getting a pair of socks and guess what falls out, my passport! I never lose things, I just mislay them. I should have known that by now! Hopefully I can get the new one cancelled so I can travel. Otherwise I will be hitching up to Liverpool for the British Trial.
Training wise all is good. I feel strong and fit. Training with Team Winrow (Craig Winrows Group) has been great. I tend to only do weights on a Friday and hills on a Saturday with the guys but it's something I look forward to. Yesterday we did a nice hill and tempo session.
The group is very positive and everyone helps eachother out. We train hard, people are often on their hands and knees at the end and at one stage one of the boys was asleep in a bush!

Regardless of what happens I will be racing next week. The location is yet to be decided.

Training Info
On a Friday we do weights, which isn't ideal with hills the next day but it's the only day that fits in.
Rory Posted on November 21st, 2011We do Dead Lift, Calve raises and Squat. We then do an upper body circuit twice working all the upper body muscles. Finally we do 10 - 20 minutes of core.
You or anybody else would definitely find hills in Richmond tough! We do anything between 15-20 reps up steep hills for different time periods (30 sec - 3 minutes) we often do hill loops to start out the session as well.

Hi Rory
Dave Francis Posted on November 20th, 2011Can you expand on the weights workout you do and the hills so we can see how hard you are training now with the Team Winrow- surely its not that tough - on the hands and knees begging the coach to end the session lol!!!
