Cheers for the questions...
At the moment I agree my mileage may be a little low when averaged out, I would have liked it to be consistently 80-90 all winter but injuries seemed to win on that front! I'm not too bothered really as I did get some good work in. Personally at the moment I don't think going too far beyond 90 will be of benefit to me as I tend to pick up small problems.
Tempo wise I run to my HR's and it's usually around 5:10 per mile but depends on how my body is reacting. some days it's slower, others marginally quicker.
I've got alot of running left in my legs yet, and I need good speed to run a good 5k. It need to keep chipping away at 1500 and 3000 times in order to improve my 5 and i'm just being patient as i'm at a stage where hopefully a large chunk will come off my 5k time in the next 12months.
This season I just want to run as fast as possible! I'll be happy to break 13:50 this year as I'd see that as a good step, but obviously I'd love to go quicker so i'm training as hard as I can- i'm still learning the event so progressing that way too. My 1500 and 3000 times are good but not good enough. If I want to run in the 13:20's I have to be capable of going through in 8:00 and carrying on so i an ideal world I need to be around the 3:40 and 7:50, but I can't see that type of improvment coming this year, i'll be happy to chip away at it though.
Say hi to the sub 1:50 man, miserable Morrow over in Tulsa!

Ryan, interesting reading your training logs (and everyone else that posts on here). A few questions for you though from the lads at Tulsa...
-Do you think that your current mileage levels are sufficient to get you to the level that you are wanting to run at?
-What sort of pace do you tempo at and how long would they be on a big week
-Your 1500/3k times seem to be slightly better than 5k and upwards, do you think that you would be better off concentrating on those distances?
-What are you targeting this season?
