Am 20mins steady, 20mins tempo at 174bpm average HR

Pm 30mins v easy jog

 

Wednesday

Am 40mins steady

 

Thursday

Am 50mins steady

Pm 45mins steady

 

Friday

Am 40mins easy

 

Saturday

Am 6,5,4,3,2,1 on hilly grass off 2mins. then 3x1min on the flat road off 90.

This was my first proper session in 10½ weeks so it was good to get out there again! (August the 11th was my last one I think, the Tuesday before Cardiff BMC)

I was a little nervous to begin with and worried that my legs wouldn't hold up but they did and I felt relieved once I got the first rep out the way. I just used the lads around me to push on and work hard and get as much as I could out of the session. Afterwards I was absolutely wiped out though and just fell asleep on the sofa.

I was only aqua jogging when injured and now i'm back running again i won't be doing any cross training. I think this week I hit 58 mile so i'd say i'm well and truly back on track

So how did it feel getting back into something like a real session- motivated, painful, hard???
Are you doing any treadmill and/or exercise bike work yet as well?
Be patient and take it easy man!
