Comments On "Week ending 11th September"

Morning tends to be between 7am and 8am depending on what I'm doing (work tues, thurs, fri and sometimes sat) and then out again around 5pm. With my Achilles I did go for a run Sunday at 6am to get it moving before the race at 9am. But yes I try to get the morning done by 8am even if I have a day off and also to avoid the masses who walk their dogs!

short easy run

do you have a set time between your easy runs and main run of the day?

ie 8hours before, or do you just fit them in when you can to get the legs moving?

Why not, if you can run 29.29 for 10k then 66.52 is around 31.20 pace, so nearly 2 minutes slower.

I couldn't go flat out due to an Achilles problem if you time to read the race report it directs you to.

Cheers

tempo?

Not sure you can consider a half marathon flat out as a tempo!
