Start of the week was great, felt really strong on the road 5k running the whole way on my own to 14.47 and knocked out a tough 18miler on the wednesday night. By the end of the week my body cracked though, After my run friday night I went to a concert and was on my feet for a good 2 hours jumping around...then did a run before standing all day in work followed by another run...when I woke sunday I had a sore throat but couldnt pull out as it was a team race, it was a very tough course and my body broke down and was feeling awfull sunday night and couldnt do my easy jog at night. Any other race I would of pulled out but its hard when its a relay and if I had my time again I probably would of done the same again although myabe ran a bit easier.
