A good week again with a bit more of a taper although still slightly higher than you would want for a 5k race. A good session Tuesday along with a couple of steady runs in there. Another week of the same next week and hopefully another good result.

Simx Posted on August 17th, 2009I do actually,I do less as I get to a race I target but back in hard training I will do them a few times a week. I dont really write it down as like you said 'extras' it is just a given I suppose. Have discussed this with Drapes with differing opinion and although I cant say it works for sure I do seem to stay pretty injury free so will carry on with them.

You have the time so what does the coach say?
They are great for strength, stability,power and improving running posture.
