Tuesday - on the road without the main group (were others to warm up and down with but not really to run with on the reps). Did 12x600m with 45seconds recovery which was bloody hard! ran 1.40/41 on most although I had a tough patch around 7-10 were it went back to 1.42/43's.

Thursday - another road session, this time with the group though of 20x300m with minute recovery. ran all of them in 46-48 with the odd 45 every now and again. Felt better than tuesday but not an easy session especially after yesterday 10mile run.

Saturday - (Road) 8x1200m with 2mins30sec recovery. The group did 8x1k after I did the first 200m and it was a tough day, very tired legs. ran them in 3.24/25 and although strong it was a grind, group helped a lot.

Sunday - 21miles in 2:12. Horrible day with the weather and I was knackered after 14miles after a tough week, was looking to go to 22 but groin started to hurt a bit in the run and was starting to get worse towards 20....stopped at 21 when it was really started to pull on any little climb. Lucky Dad was on the bike the second half and had his phone so rang my mum to pick me up a mile from my house (better safe than sorry).

Chasers

Hi simon i am a steeplechaser and some guest interviews with the likes of 3k chasers such as Luke Gunn, Hatti Dean and 5k runners such as jonny hay would appreciated if in the nearby future you could possibly get interviews with them so i can get an insight into their training.

Nick didn't have the time anymore sadly. The current athletes on the site are really good for all sorts of reasons and RL is very happy with the line up, although the door is always open...

Cheers

Athletes

Hey simon what happened to goooolag??? also just gonna put my opinion. i think the runnerslife team needs to include more youths and more elite athletes. including more youths would gving the younger generation something to relate to and also to look up to and follow in footsteps. for example good ones would be Jonny hay, Charlotte purdue so on
Lemoncello was a good move, hope the transfer fees and medical went through smoothly. other good 'elites' would be mo farah, Luke Gunn so on(GET GUNNY or do a guest interverview, hes my idol ;) )
